A LOP - List of Open Points - is a fundamental tool for any projects to manage open actions or issues from identification to completion.
The Owner of the LOP can export the tasks to Outlook or import last updates from Outlook to the LOP
A double click in "Powerpoint" or "Folder" columns creates automatically hyperlinks to a Ppt presentation or a specific folders linked to the task ID in the LOP.
A click on "Update" button creates automatically your weekly minutes, sorting out relevant items from the LOP by classifying them by :
Actions without Due date - Actions in late - Actions due this week or next week - New actions created - Actions discussed - Actions closed
Create Gantt timings, track and report progress vs. initial baseline
Reccord key milestones dates per function and sub functions and set the deliverables required
A LOP - List of Open Points - is a fundamental tool for any projects to manage open actions or issues from identification to completion.
ID -> ID of the action - Unique identification of a task by an ID number. set automatically while new task row is starting to be filled
Creation date -> Date of creation of a task in the list. Enter by double click to set date of the day
Subject /Origin -> Subject or origin of the tasks.
Part/Supplier -> Part or supplier assigned to the tasks.
Action-> where the task or action is described in details
Start Date -> Date of start of the task or the action . Enter by double click to set date of the day
Due Date -> When the action is due. Enter by double click to set date of the day. Reschedule and keep historic with ALT+ENTER separator between due dates
Comments -> track progress of the task or add comments here - Enter by double click to set prefix as date of the day automatically in the cell.
Revision Date -> date of last comments entered
Closing date -> date when task has been completed. Enter by double click to set date of the day
Status -> Set automatically according other cells inputs. Status can result in : "New", "Doing", "Done", "On-time?", "In-late", "Not started"
PowerPoint -> Enter by double click to create hyperlink and create specific section in the presentation selected ( to select in Link Menu)
Folder -> Enter by double click to create hyperlink and a specific sub-folder where to store deliverables linked to the task
Enter Due date and keep traceability of revisions by entering due dates separated by ALT+ENTER
Due date can be entered as date format or week number - macro will convert your entry in the format dd-mmm-yyyy or W##-yyyy
Last revised due date is in the last row and is considered to calulate the status of the task
Enter by double click will set automatically the date of the day - in blue - as a prefix of a new entry
Latest comments will be always set on top of the cell to stay visible
Set automatically by formula vs. other cells input
Status can be :NEW / NOT STARTED / DOING/ ON-TIME ? / IN LATE / DONE
Simply enter by double click in the "Closing date" column will result in closing the item + set date of the day
