Agile project management with Scrum tool is commonly used in software development or specific huge maintenance management.
Scrum method has been designed for non determinist projects whiches by nature are difficult to anticipate and plan from the start to the end.
All identified activities are grouped in the "Product Backlog" and set by the "Product Owner" and then affected into "Sprints".
So a Sprint includes a list of tasks to be completed within the standard duration set for all Sprints ( Usually 2-4 weeks)
At each end of Sprint, the scrum team meets together and take a step back on the past Sprint to discuss what went well, not so well and the new potential blocking points
Scrum method is based on incremental cycles called "Sprints" until completion of all the tasks set in the Product Backlog.
Product Backlog are by nature not frozen and can be continuously enriched with new tasks item from new ideas or feedback from Sprints.
A burndown graph allows to track progress of the team, challenge timing with the team and predict completion date of the project based on velocities of each sub-group of people / team member.

After selection of one Post-it , press <<F2>> key to show and set Post-it properties
Move post-it as a shape in Excel in the desired column corresponding to the new state of the action
Columns by default ( editable) : Stories / To Do / In progress / Testing / Issues / Done / New
One click on the small Post-it filters with activate / inhibate the filters - Click on the "Refresh" button to actualize the tasks Kanban
>> "Refresh" Button to update the screen and re-organize Post-its
>> "Add Post-it" Button to create a new Post-It
Ref -> ID of the action - Unique identification of a task by a number - Set automatically by macro when new task is starting to be entered -
Creation date -> Date ofcreation of the task in the Product Backlog - Date of the day is set automatically with a double click in the cells of this column
Sprints-> Affect task to a Sprint - Select Sprint number in the predefined list.
Group -> This field is used to split the tasks in groups . Groups can be team names, departments etc ...A group will have dedicated Post-it color
Title -> This field is used to group the task into functions, hardwares, issues, origin etc...
Action-> where the task or action is described in details
Complexity -> Field to quantify complexity of a task - obviously a complex task will longer than a basic one.
Owner -> Who is responsible of the task
Comments -> to report progress of the task or comment the task - Enter in this cell only by double click , otherwise comments will be erased after leaving the cell
Closing date -> Reccord the date when the task has been completed
Scrum Status -> Corresponding to the area where is placed the post-it in the Kanban Scrum
Enter by double click will set automatically the date of the day as a prefix of a new entry
Latest comments will be always set on top of the cell to stay visible
Observe burndown chart for the global project or focus on a specific Sprint or development team selecting them in the two combobox
Burndown chart reports two curves :
Blue >> The target for completion
Black >> The actual progress
Obviously the black curve shall remain below the blue curve to not be late
Target curve is calculated based on standard velocity of the teams set in "settings" sheet
1>> Adjust Post-it size by setting standard width and height of the post-it.
2>> Scrum status affected by default to a new created Post-it
3>> Rating scale of complexity for tasks - assessed and affected by the team to each task to complete in the product backlog sheet
4>> Standard duration of a sprint ( duration to set in weeks)
5>> Start date of each Sprint
6>>Standard Velocity of a team - can be set from standards in your company and can be revised according actual average velocity calculated from the actual Scrum project
7>> Area where to set teams and affect Post-it color. To create a new team, simply duplicate a post-it , change name and color , that's all what you have to do
